The FA: understanding the needs of employees

The FA was keen to develop an employee wellbeing strategy that was fully aligned to its core values. Our challenge was to understand The FA's requirements and to develop a wellbeing strategy that would meet the specific needs of its employees.

The approach

We worked closely with The FA to assess overall employee wellbeing and happiness within its workplace, applying our innovative approach to wellbeing analytics through a BWell surveyThe results and findings were then presented, highlighting key hotspots and trends. Meetings were also arranged with health and wellbeing providers to ensure a joined-up, holistic approach.

A wellbeing strategy was then developed to be fully aligned with The FA's objectives and the wellbeing needs of its employees. New and existing benefits were delivered to the workforce by our employee engagement platform, 4me, and roadshows were held to engage and involve employees.

The result

Previously The FA had been in discussion with two financial product providers. However, discussions with us made them realise that these products may not be the right solution just yet.

"The BWell analysis provided by Barnett Waddingham really helped us understand the needs of our workforce. Wellbeing is very important to us and we needed a strategy that aligned with our goals, as well as improving the happiness and wellbeing of our staff... This has now been launched and has been very well received!"
