Me2®: innovative new feature launched today

We are pleased announce the details of our new benefit choice feature to Me2®, our online member engagement portal. Me2® allows employers to deliver their key messages and objectives around overall employee wellbeing, directly to their workforce.

Recognising the issues that our clients face around engaging the workforce and driving ‘employee value’ we have developed a wellbeing portal, allowing employers to deliver their key messages and objectives around overall employee wellbeing in a direct and cost effective way.

The new feature engages with employees to provide an individual experience supported by educational materials to help tailor benefit selections to the specific needs of the individual,  taking into account any major life changes that may impact benefit choice.

Me2® also provides targeted educational material on the choices available and ‘digging deeper’ sections with videos and helpful tools. As expected, it supports ‘anytime choice’, providing both employers and employees with added flexibility to make changes to their selection throughout the year.

Damian Stancombe, Partner & Head of Workplace Health and Wealth, says:

“Developments to Me2®  will boost engagement and retention levels among staff, since the benefits they are provided will align with their individual needs. Employers will then directly benefit from this personal approach, cultivating a staff base that is happy, productive and profitable to the organisation”.

Julia Turney, Head of Platform & Engagement at Barnett Waddingham, says:

“The modular design of Me2® supports organisations in taking a holistic approach to the wellbeing of their employees. This bespoke Me2® feature also plays a critical role in educating employees about the benefits available to them, and targeting areas important to them, so they can make informed choices.  We are not looking at adding costs for the employer, but redistributing where the ‘spend’ should be, based upon the analysis Me2®  does at a corporate and individual level.’”.

The Me2® framework is based on Barnett Waddingham’s six pillars of employee wellbeing: job security, financial security, health, support, protection and lifestyle.
