Principal and Proposition Manager

Claire is a proposition manager focussing primarily on the trustee services market area. She works with actuarial, administration and investment teams to develop tailored proposals and presentations for clients and prospects. 

Claire’s main role is supporting Barnett Waddingham’s client retention and business growth objectives.

Claire is also involved in Barnett Waddingham’s engagement programme; helping to create a working environment that supports professional and personal development and employee wellbeing.

Significant experience:

  • helping tender teams develop response strategies
  • working with tender teams to develop key messages and proposals for clients and prospects
  • coaching pitch teams (key message development and delivery)
  • reviewing feedback and assimilating into future opportunities
  • pitch coaching/training

Career

Claire graduated from Trinity & All Saints University College with a degree in Media with Management, followed by a certificate in International Business Practice from Oxford University as part of the Mountbatten Programme in New York.

Before joining Barnett Waddingham in 2016, Claire gained a wealth of marketing and business development experience within financial and professional services including the legal and property sectors. She has worked in the pensions industry for 13 years.

Claire became a Principal at Barnett Waddingham in 2022.

Keen on health and fitness; Claire spends her free time either in the gym or in the kitchen trying new recipes. She also enjoys travelling, taking opportunities to try unusual food and wine.
