Julia is a partner of Barnett Waddingham and is Head of Partnership Matters for BW on an interim basis.

Over her career Julia has worked in pensions administration and employee benefits and is a Fellow of the Pensions Management Institute, Associate of the Personal Finance Society and an Affiliate of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.

She is a regular speaker at BW seminars for clients and their advisers and a past committee member of the SIPP Provider Group and Association of Member-nominated Pension Schemes (AMPS).

Career

Julia studied Business and Finance at the University of Plymouth.

Julia joined the Cheltenham office of Barnett Waddingham in 1996 and became an associate of the firm in June 2001.

Julia was responsible for the establishment of the Barnett Waddingham SIPP which was launched in 1999. In June 2009 she was appointed Chief Operating Officer of BW SIPP LLP. She is currently a partner and recently took up the role of Head of Partnership Matters on an interim basis.

Interests

Julia lives in Cheltenham and outside of work she plays netball and is the support crew for her family’s busy social life.
