Kathryn is a Senior Pensions Management Consultant and one of the dedicated secretarial and governance specialists within the Pensions Executive and Management Services team. She brings a wealth of experience in specialist areas such as trustee secretariat services, scheme governance, monitoring processes, business planning requirements and scheme related projects.

After a short spell in pensions administration, Kathryn moved in-house and has spent the majority of her career as a pensions manager and scheme secretary at several large blue-chip organisations across a variety of sectors, including banking, retail and shipping. Her experience has focussed mainly on defined benefit (DB) funds, latterly supporting the trustees of a large multi-employer scheme.

Her in-house experience and natural approach means that she is able to put herself in her clients’ shoes and manage issues with confidence and pragmatism, making for a more productive working relationship.


Significant experience:

  • In-house pensions manager and scheme secretary for a number of large blue-chip organisations.
  • Experience of managing and reviewing advisers.
  • Experience of conducting trustee effectiveness exercises.
  • Expertise in trustee governance.
  • Supporting bespoke scheme change projects such as closure to DB, introduction of defined contribution (DC), buy-ins and buy-outs.
