Barnett Waddingham (BW) has been appointed to the new National LGPS Framework for Pensions Administration Operational Support Services.
This latest framework will help the LGPS community quickly and efficiently access specialist services to support scheme administration and communication.
The Pensions Administration Operational Support Services Framework enables LGPS Funds and Pools, their employers and other public sector pensions schemes to procure services across two distinct service lots.
BW’s Pension Administration team and its creative communication agency, DrumRoll, have been appointed to both lots of the framework.
"The new framework complements our existing appointments on the other frameworks including actuarial, benefits and governance. This will give funds access to our award-winning teams and their expertise in these specialist areas."
Lot 1: Pensions Administration Operational Services, including services such as:
- Data interrogation and rectification
- Pension administration project delivery including those arising from legal judgements and legislative changes e.g. support with McCloud projects, employer transfers, pensions, administration system implementation support
- Temporary/ad-hoc general pensions administration
Lot 2: Provision of Specialist Pensions Communications and Engagement Services, which includes the provision of specialist support to design, develop and deliver effective LGPS multi-channel communications and engagement strategies.
