Simon Foster has been appointed CEO of BW SIPP subject to FCA approval. Simon has previous experience as a leader of a significant pension administration business, a Director of a SIPP Operator and an FCA Approved Person. 


He has been with BW for three years in a cross-company role as Head of Proposition and Implementation. Prior to joining BW in 2019 he was with Zurich for 27 years across multiple roles, including Head of Zurich's international corporate pensions and corporate risk business. 

Julia Bassett steps down as the BW SIPP lead after 13 years. Under Julia’s leadership, BW SIPP has grown substantially and represents a significant component of BW’s administration business. She has been appointed Head of Partnership Matters for BW on an interim basis.  

BW administers over 62,000 SIPPS, totalling over £13 billion in assets under administration (AUA) including over 1,300 commercial properties. The organisation has accumulated significant experience in providing white-label SIPPs and third-party administration. These are built on principles of quality, alignment and efficiency and have contributed significantly to BW’s growth.
