Our creative communications team DrumRoll are today celebrating their 'Innovation in New Product or Service' award following the 2023 PMI Pinnacle Awards, on a night that also saw one of our emerging talents spotlighted.

Held last night in London at the Londoner Hotel in Leicester Square, the Pinnacle Awards celebrate the people and new ideas that contribute to making a real impact in the pensions world.

DrumRoll, our specialist communications consultancy, won the 'Innovation in New Product or Service' award for their work with integrating accessibility concerns into all of their communications advice. One of DrumRoll's goals is to make information and media accessible to all people, so they become involved in the communication and are able to make informed decisions.

Speaking on the win, DrumRoll Lead Consultant Steph Gold said: "Winning this award reaffirms our ‘refreshingly straightforward’ inclusive-to-all approach is the right one when it comes to communicating with our diverse audiences."

"Every person in the DrumRoll team is so passionate about the work they do and I’m delighted we’ve been recognised for their hard work."

Also at the ceremony, Pension Administrator Daisy Gillett was given 'Highly Commended' honours in the 'Star in the Making' category, an award that recognises emerging talent in the industry. Daisy joined BW through our Apprenticeship scheme - only graduating earlier this year - and we're proud that our efforts to support and nurture young talent have played a part in Daisy's well-deserved success.

Daisy’s accolade means BW have enjoyed back-to-back successful years in the category, with Beth Finch winning the award last year.

Speaking on her acknowledgment, Daisy said: "I really appreciate all the support my team and the firm have given me during my journey to become the administrator I am today and for all the opportunities I have been presented with."

"I feel a great sense of pride and I am excited about what the future will bring in the next chapter of my career."
